Peewee Division, 2017-2018 (North Durham Minor Hockey)

 Hello Parents;     I just wanted to touch base regarding a couple end of season  items...first off thank you for a great season, it was a pleasure this year for me personally with such a supportive group of parents, there will always be “bumps in the road” but this year with the teams and so many kids and parents to interact with. Thank you for being very professional no matter what came up.   Also thank you to Stephen Stickland For all his hard work and dedication on the Uxbridge side it was truly a professional pleasure working with you!!

Hello All;  Our HL hockey season is almost over...we just wanted  to thank all of the parents this year for their professional feedback and open lines of communication it truly was a great year. As always some bumps in the road but overall  we had a great season and the most important fact...kids had a blast! Again just to reiterate this weekend will have everyone playing two games. Saturday will have the top two teams play for the A final and the remaining teams will play for the B final. 

All; People have asked...we have listened...there will be no hockey this year on the March Break! There was supposed to be some practices booked in for March 10th-16th but many are away and  also remember  the kids  received extra ice with the Christmas tournament and also now our year end Championship weekend March 24/25, families can have a nice break away from the rinks!

If we all play for the love of the game, why does it matter what level of hockey we play? Go to any rink and you’ll see smiling faces of players enjoying themselves on the ice and with their teammates. The competition is still there, no matter the score, and friends are having fun together. It’s not necessarily about winning.
