Championship Weekend
Hello All;
Our HL hockey season is almost over...we just wanted to thank all of the parents this year for their professional feedback and open lines of communication it truly was a great year.
As always some bumps in the road but overall we had a great season and the most important fact...kids had a blast!
Again just to reiterate this weekend will have everyone playing two games. Saturday will have the top two teams play for the A final and the remaining teams will play for the B final.
The games on Sunday will be played against the teams from Uxbridge.The schedule for Sunday will be based on the outcome of the games on Saturday.
The games will be played so that the A final champion from Port will be competing against the A final champion from Uxbridge.The remaining games will follow the same pattern (A final finalist from each centre playing against one another, etc). These games will be played on Pad 1 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in UXBRIDGE.
All are welcome and encouraged to stay and watch each team play.
Also, the Lions club will be hosting a pancake breakfast this Saturday morning from 7:30 to 12:30. The event is open to all and the Lions club will be asking for donations to offset the cost.
I encourage you all to attend and help support the continued work the Lions club does in the community.
Finally, the NDMHA Annual General Meeting will be held on April 17 starting at 7 pm in the arena. Further details can be found on the NDMHA website.
