Hello Parents;
I just wanted to touch base regarding a
couple end of season items...first off
thank you for a great season, it was a pleasure this year for me personally
with such a supportive group of parents, there will always be “bumps in the
road” but this year with the teams and so many kids and parents to interact with.
Thank you for being very professional no matter what came up.
Also thank you to Stephen Stickland For all his hard work and dedication on the Uxbridge side it was truly a professional pleasure working with you!!
This past playoff finals weekend in Peewee saw some very close games and although not all of them could be 1 goal outcomes…sometimes that’s hockey, the main thing is the kids had fun whether they won or lost this season.
In Peewee this age group is vital for development and to me winning/losing yes is part of the game, but more so it’s about the overall success of practices, interacting with new kids, developing friendships that could last a lifetime, and also going through the trials and tribulations as young kids.
All the kids should be so proud in terms of what they accomplished this year and where they came from. I truly believe we had a successful season overall and wish you and your children all the best in your future endeavours I hope to see you back for next year as I know we have some exciting directions we are going in.
I’ve said it all along that Housel League Hockey is the FOUNDATION in which all minor hockey is built and developed on!!
