U11 B, Blades (North Durham Minor Hockey)

What a month the girls had! November was packed with growth, grit, and unforgettable moments—big wins, tough lessons, long drives, cold parades, and plenty of proud smiles. Here’s a look back at an action-filled month.

The girls played their first tournament of the season last weekend on October 24-25th. They had only played one regular season game week before and 3 exhibition games leading up to their first real test of multiple games close together over a short weekend.

North Durham U11B had their first exhibition game last Friday. The girls gave it their best effort and despite going up against a much stronger team from Orillia, they worked hard and came off the ice with great attitudes. Our rookie goaltender Kayla stopped 19 shots and looked more and more comfortable as the game went on. Way to go Kayla! We are extremely happy to announce the new jerseys have arrived! We have just wrapped up our first week of on ice practices. Our new goaltender Kayla has been breaking in her new gear and looking like a natural out there. All the girls made some great progress in our first 3 sessions and we are looking forward to the next few weeks of skills and drill progressions. The U11B team is now looking for exhibition games.
