Bantam Blades Onto The Final Round Of Playoffs
The North Durham Blades Bantam B team beat out the 2nd place Peterborough Ice Kats in the 3rd game of a 3 game series in a nail biter of a finish to move on to the 3rd and Final round of the LLFHL Playoffs. The Game was won on an overtime Goal to make it 3-2 to move on to meet 1st place seeded West Northumberland Wild in the Finals where the winning team will represent their Association in the Best of the Best Tournament at the end of March.
The Blades Bantam B team, after only 3 wins in their division during regular season, finished 6th out of 7 teams, put out the 3rd place Whitby Wolves in the first round to advance. To say that the Coaching Staff, Families and Blades Association are proud of these girls is a HUGE understatement.
These players have turned it on when it matters most and don’t quit. Ever.
