Victory in Round 2 of the Play Offs
The Blades played a very well matched series against the Orillia Hawks for Round 2 of Play Offs these past few weeks. The first game was a tie (3-3), Game 2 at Orillia the Blades won (2-1) which meant that if we tied or won Game 3 we won the series, but if Orillia won Game 3 we went into a 10 minute, stop time, sudden death overtime - first goal wins the series.
The girls went in confident and played well but Orillia played their hearts out and won the game 3-1.
Just 2 minutes into the sudden death overtime the Blades won to take the series and move on to Round 3 against the Barrie Sharks - - GO BLADES!
