Rotary Club Seeks Volunteers
Hello Hockey Families!
Please the below message from the Bantam players.
Hello,
The Rotary Club of Uxbridge is looking for volunteers to help serve at our annual Seniors Thanksgiving Dinner, held this year on Thursday October 4th, at the Uxbridge Seniors Centre at 75 Marietta Street. We serve a complete turkey dinner, with all the fixings, to 200 local seniors. It's VERY popular!
The best part is that ALL our volunteers get to enjoy a supper too, after the seniors have returned home. Volunteers can also earn community service hours (3-4 hours) at this event.
Would any members of the Uxbridge Bantam hockey team be interested and available? They would need to be at the Seniors Centre at 3:30, and would likely be finished around 7:30. Dress code for servers is requested to be white shirts and black slacks.
