Unbelievably the season is coming to an end. Please pay close attention to the website as the times, dates and locations may be different from what you're used to.
Forgive me for the long email but I want to give you as much information as possible to make life easier on your Coaches.
Please be aware that we will be playing the Semi finals next weekend. Games cannot finish in ties, so regular tie breaker rules will apply. Unfortunately as we have an odd number of teams, one team will be eliminated from the playoffs.
RED and GREEN will play a sudden death play in game on Sunday (24th)...the winner moves on to play in the C Final and the loser will have their season come to an end.
ORANGE and RED...please be aware you have a practice in UXBRIDGE at 5:45 on Thursday the 21st, and your Semi Final game on Saturday to see who goes into the A or B Finals.
PURPLE and SILVER...it is not a mistake, because of how you placed you will be playing each other twice in a row. Your game on Thursday will NOT impact the final standings and you will be playing each other again on Saturday to see who plays in the A or B Finals.
TEAL has a bye in the first round because of the odd number of teams and will just have a practice on Saturday.
The 2 FINAL practices (Sunday and Thursday will be different formats).
Sunday 24th 7:15 am in UXBRIDGE...this will be an OPEN practice with coaches for the first 35 players that sign up (please email me or have your coach send me an email (

Thursday the 28th in Port Perry....all 6 teams will have a 35 minute practice (2 at a time) starting at 6:45.
Saturday the 30th in Uxbridge...the season ends with the A,B and C Finals.
It is very important that you attend the AGM in Port Perry this year....there are many new proposals by the Board which will/could greatly impact where your child plays hockey next season. You will be receiving a survey soon asking for feedback on your coaches and about Amalgamation. Please read this VERY carefully before responding and make sure you understand what you are answering. Essentially what they would like to do is fully amalgamate each division so there are no longer Uxbridge and Port Perry teams....there would just be mixed teams. This could mean that you're playing a majority of your games or practices in another centre (Uxbridge or Port Perry). My goal is to keep your kids playing and enjoying hockey, and to make it as EASY as possible for you the Parent to get them to their games and practices.
Our hope as Convenor's and House League Director's is to have full Division's next year in Port Perry and Uxbridge so that things run a little smoother so please REGISTER as EARLY as you can so that we can look at the numbers and encourage more players to register PRIOR to September.
