New Game Format Coming To Uxbridge Novice House League
Hello Everyone!
Hope you are enjoying the season so far! In an effort to restore playing time lost with a running clock, we are moving the Uxbridge Novice Division to a 3 period format going forward.
The format will be periods of:
First - 10 minutes
Second - Ten Minutes
Third - 12-16 Minutes (depending on time remaining until the next game)
The clock will be stop time for periods one and two for all whistles.
The clock will run time for period three.
Period three could be 10-16 minutes depending on how much time is left.
Goalies will switch ends during period intermissions.
The 2 minute buzzer will remain for shift changes but the clock won't stop for buzzers.
We will phase out buzzers in December's first week and move to shift changes at whistles and on the fly.
We will try the new format this weekend.
