ATOM BLADES TAKE GOLD IN CLARINGTON!
The Atom Blades brought home the first gold medal of the season this past weekend, at the Clarington Applefest Tournament. The Blades cruised through the round robin defeating Waterloo 6-4, Oshawa 3-0 and Kitchener 5-1. With a first place finish, the Blades took on the Oshawa Lady Generals in the semi-final on Sunday morning. The Blades battled hard and pulled out a 2-1 overtime victory, which earned them a berth in the final against Waterloo. The Blades played hard and defeated Waterloo 4-1 to take home gold.
